I love finding stamps that you really can use over and over again. Hand lettering is super popular right now and I LOVE how the new Letter It™ line from Ranger Ink at Scrapbook.com makes it so easy to quickly create hand lettered tags for gifts!
Ranger is excited to introduce the Letter It ™ program! Letter It ™ is a carefully curated collection of stamps, pens, embossing powders, pearl powders, mediums, tools and surfaces designed to work together so you can create beautifully personalized cards, tags, gifts, and more for all of life’s occasions! I got my hands on this new line and knew instantly what I’d use them most for – simple gift tags. Gift tags are expensive and a lot of times boring so having essentials on hand to make your own can save you some money while letting you get a little crafting in!
All the stamps feature some beautiful hand lettering. Pair those with embossing powders, perfect pearls, traditional ink or even add on with a pen and you have an easy, trendy tag to add to a gift that looks like you spent tons of time on. I wanted to test out the new line so I just pre-made a collection of little tags.
My favorite tags to make are wine tags! If you have wine lovers in your life the perfect, easy gift is a bottle of wine. You can also use these tags for cider or bottles of whatever your giftee would love. You can make them with full sheets of scrapbook paper or with the small cards from the Letter It™ line. Just punch a 2″ hole, fold down and decorate!
The Letter It™ line also has some tags you can stamp right on to add to a gift bag or wrapped gift.
I love the look of embossing powders on tags! They are always so fun to create and share. If you’re not familiar with embossing powder, for these tags I used an embossing ink pad just like you would regular ink, sprinkled embossing powder over the wet ink, tapped off the excess and then heated up the ink on the card with a heat tool. SO much easier than it looks if you’ve never worked with it before! On the first tag below I actually drew on the little triangle “confetti” with a medium pen which works the same way as the ink but you can draw with it like a pen.
If we’re being honest, my quick, rush out the door go-to is just a great stamp, black ink and a tag. Simple, beautiful and totally do-able even if you’re running late.
Pick up some (or all) of the new Letter It™ line from Scrapbook.com and you’ll be ready to create a tag in no time!
