The best part about keeping craft supplies around is the ability to whip up a craft or add some personalization to a gift at a moments notice. I hate having to run to the store on the way to a dinner or party because I had nothing to wrap the gift in! Here’s a fun, simple gift wrap idea for any guy in your life using just a bit of paper or scrap supplies you have.

The Spellbinders Platinum Die Cutting & Embossing machine along with their bow steel rule die makes it that much quicker, cuter and pulled together!

I have a little collection of cigar boxes so when I have a need for a small box I have a sturdy option to wrap or dress up a bit. For this wrapping I decided just to leave it as is. I used my Spellbinders Platinum Die Cutting & Embossing machine and the bow die to cut out a perfect bow with some graphic scrapbook paper.

My favorite adhesive on things that will get “handled” like this is hot glue so that’s what I used to assemble the bow.

I have a collection of large alphas but I have my eye on the Typ-Oh! dies so that I don’t have a collection of unused letters. Add an alpha and the bow at the bottom with some string or ribbon to hold the box closed.

I love how adding the bow to the bottom of the letter (made out of a masculine pattern) instantly makes it look like a bow tie instead of a hair bow!

I’ll be using this die for some other projects too in totally different ways. I have to say, I love being able to create and cut out fun designs without connecting to any electronic device. It makes creating so much easier!
