These personalized throw blankets are a perfect, easy gift idea. You can make these right at home with any Cricut machine you have. I used the Cricut Joy since my monograms weren’t any larger than 4.5″. Personalized blankets are great to give by themselves or as part of a gift basket or family gift idea.

How to Make Personalized Blankets with a Modern Monogram

To make these personalized blankets you’ll need:

To make it just open up this project in Cricut Design Space & click “customize”. You’ll want to edit the initials to the ones you need for your project. To edit the text you’ll need to detach and ungroup each set of initials, double click & edit the letters, then re-group and re-attach for ease of use & to keep your monograms together when cutting!

Cut using the Cricut machine you have (don’t forget to turn the mirror on).

Cut each monogram out & weed the extra vinyl off.

Heat press the iron-on vinyl onto the blankets. Make sure to check the heat settings with Cricut for the machine/iron you have and the fabric that your blanket is made out of.

Repeat for all your blankets!

Gift Ideas Using Personalized Throw Blankets
