Hostess gifts are one thing that always seem to stump me. What if they don’t drink wine, don’t like candles or strong scents, have food allergies etc. Then, while browsing through the Walgreens holiday gift guide (which also has some other awesome ideas AND pet holiday safety tips) I had a stroke of genius. I usually know ahead of time if the hostess has pets and pet toys/treats are something that are quickly gone through (at least in this house) so how about a fun pet gifts basket?!
I actually didn’t realize they had so many pet items so while on one of our nightly walks I decided to pop in one and check it out.
They had a surprising amount of choices with their Pet Shoppe® line and even had grain free treats (neither of my pups do well with grains plus I don’t want them licking the gluten free members of the house with gluten saliva). The thing I liked best was how quick it was to get in and out (something that is much needed with my last minute gift runs) but still giving me plenty of variety for an awesome gift.
This is what I picked out and what was quickly approved by Chance and Kona.
Those Pet Shoppe® Silly Bums cracked me up!
I think I’d be happier with a gift for the dogs any day over one for me. We go through these things like you wouldn’t believe in this house!
Have you ever considered getting the hostess a pet related gift? I don’t know why I’ve never thought of it before!
