I was part of the Every day, care™ project from Whirlpool® as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars. #EveryDayCare

Have you seen the Every day, care™ project from Whirlpool®? I have always cherished the acts of love put into all the little, often overlooked things I do throughout the day as a wife and mom. A LOT of those small acts throughout the day seem to be for the furriest members of our family Kona and Chance.

I was talking to a guy at the store just yesterday about things we’ve had to fix over the years because of silly things our dogs did and it made me realize just how much we’re all willing to do for our pets. They are just as much a part of our family as anyone else, and they bring so much love, peace, craziness and laughter to our home.

Even though I can’t stay mad at those cute faces there ARE things they do that I don’t always love. The hyper excited puppy faces at 10:30pm, ready to take their walk even though it’s the first time all day I’ve had 2 minutes to sit down.

Picking up their toys for the 278th time. I swear there are more dog toy bits around the house at any given time than there are LEGO pieces! They are really good at getting them out of their basket, but not so good about putting them back in.

Have you ever tried to work with a dog on your laptop? Not so easy. And don’t even get me started on the extra laundry! I told Chance – “Whatever you do, DON’T lay on the quilt topper.” Where do you think he laid? Right. On. The quilt topper.

Laundry is my least favorite chore, but during the day when I see scenes like this  I can’t help but smile and power through. It makes it all worth it, the way they make us all feel safe and loved each and every day.

The last year I’ve tried to remember the dog moms in my life and passing on little thank you’s from their pets since they can’t do much talking. Here’s a cute little printable you can leave for the dog moms in your life as well. (The paw print is my sweet girl Jade’s print when she was 14 years old.)

Just download + print, trim just inside the dashed lines and fold in half (there are 2 cards per page). Use for a sweet note just because, or to add on to a small gift.

I know there are lots of us who do all kinds of daily acts of care for our furry family members. Maybe this will help you spread a little love to a few of those people in your lives!

Whirlpool Every day, care

Whirlpool recently launched the Every day, care project highlighting how simple acts of care can change the world. Seemingly small things like laundry, dishes or picking up dog toys 100 times a day can end up making a big difference in the lives of the ones we love. Go check out the Every day, care™ website to learn about their mission and celebrate the little things.

  1. i can’t wait to print these out. They’re so cute and simple. I just lost my sweet girl Peanut last month to cancer and never thought o would have another dog. Then a puppy from a rescue seemed to come along right when we needed it. My other dog is the same age as Peanut and they grew up together so he was devastated. The puppy has brought so much joy to our lives and I couldn’t be more grateful for all the foster parents that took care of my baby girl and her 4 siblings. This would be a perfect thing to send them for Christmas as well. Thank you!.

That is such a great idea! A little photo tucked inside would be great as well – I may have to do the same!
