I LOVE gift baskets. They are such an easy way to pull together a gift with almost any budget and really allow you to get creative with your gift giving. Themed baskets are fun because you can include items you might not normally think of as buying for a gift but if it goes along with your theme – I say it’s fair game! I’m going to share some ideas for themed gift baskets this season and give you some ideas of ways to mix it up a bit. This first one is a favorite because I LOVE TACOS. This gift basket is PERFECT for someone who lives for Taco Tuesday.

What to Put in a Taco Gift Basket

Ok, so you have a friend who loves tacos. You know the friend that suggests Mexican food EVERY time you ask where you want to go to eat (that’s me)?  This is for them. Depending on your budget you can add as many or as few items as you like!

• Taco Tuesday Cookbook – this gorgeous book is FULL of amazing and easy recipes. This is a perfect foundation for any taco gift basket. Gorgeous photos, easy to follow recipes, and recipes for every meal. I really do love this cookbook!
• Taco Holders – from stainless steel to dinosaurs or taco trucks there are MANY types of taco holders to choose from. This is one of those things that people love but might not buy for themselves!
• Tortilla Press
• Tortilla Warmer
• Salsa Bowl
• Your favorite salsas or a local hot sauce
• Margarita fixings
• Margarita Glasses – I’m obsessed with these cactus margarita glasses!
• Salt Shot Glasses

How to Put Together a Taco Gift Basket

I use the term “gift basket” lightly because really, some taco holders and the Taco Tuesday book are a perfect gift just tied together with a bow!

Depending on your budget, pick and choose what you want to go in your basket. Fill the basket with crumpled paper (easier to recycle than those little strips) and add your items! You can even find a big chip bowl to use as your “basket” instead. You can wrap the entire thing or just give as-is!
