These stamped air dry clay tags are super simple and easy enough for the kids to get involved with. You’ll need air dry clay, stamps and something to cut the clay with.
I just used the Crayola air dry clay since it’s what we had on hand and stamps from the Studio Calico Camelot kits and add-ons, a biscuit cutter, a plastic take out container and a craft knife.
Roll out the clay to 1/4″-1/2″ thick (or thicker)
Cut out a shape using a cookie cutter (any shape) or knife
Mount your stamp on an acrylic block and press into the clay. A heavier hand makes a deeper impression. (Clean your stamp off well first if you’ve used it)
Make a hole in the top using a craft knife if using as a tag and allow to dry completely
Kids can decorate with markers or paint!
Simple, fun and another great way to use that stamp collection!

Love this! What a great idea and a fun way to personalize a gift. Would be perfect for Christmas time, so that it can be used as an ornament too!
I love this clever and sophisticated use a children’s play-medium.
