Choosing gifts is one of my favorite things to do, but I’m not always on the ball knowing what to get. If you’re shopping for a Mom who loves to travel, I have a few ideas of what she might love for Mother’s Day besides the “typical” travel gifts like luggage or toiletry bags.

We are not new to staying at properties powered by Resortime and managed by Grand Pacific Resorts. In fact, we’ve had the pleasure of working with them in Carlsbad, on Kauai, and I’ve booked with them myself in Florida as well. This last weekend we went on one of the most fun adventures we’ve ever done in Arizona with our partners at Wilderness Aware Rafting. We went on a 2-day Expedition whitewater rafting and camping on the Salt River outside of Globe, AZ in the Salt River Canyon Wilderness area. We had an incredible time (even my teenager who wasn’t too sure about the whole weekend thing).
