If you’ve been following along on social you might have seen us living our best Lake Tahoe lives last week with our partners at Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge. It was most of our first visits to Lake Tahoe all together so we didn’t know what to expect. I wanted to share a bit about Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge on the North side of Lake Tahoe and what we thought of our stay. Don’t forget to enter the sweepstakes for a 3-night stay (scroll down to enter real quick) because you can only enter through the end of March.
Staying at Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge: Lake Tahoe
We are not new to staying at properties powered by Resortime and managed by Grand Pacific Resorts. In fact, we’ve had the pleasure of working with them in Carlsbad, on Kauai, and I’ve booked with them myself in Florida as well. We just love the convenience and space like a vacation rental but with the amenities, we love when staying at a hotel. Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge did not disappoint.
The lodge is located in Tahoe Vista (the north side of Lake Tahoe) and is in such a gorgeous location. They even have their own private beach and pier. We visited it every morning and every evening of our trip. I am absolutely in love with this are (and now need to go back in Summer).
They have studio units, one bedroom, and two bedroom units available. All have a full kitchen (one of the biggest reasons we love booking these types of properties).
The lodge is small (like the others in the area) making it super accessible and perfect for running back and forth from your room to the lake, their pool, or 2 hot tubs. They also have some great amenities in the office like an on-site concierge, daily activities, rentals, or equipment you can borrow to use in the area!
Everyone in the office, and that we came across staying there really, were so nice and welcoming. We stayed for 4 nights and loved having a comfortable place to relax in the evenings and watch movies or play games. We spent most mornings sleeping in and then making breakfast together before venturing out for the day.
We absolutely loved our stay and think that the value is fantastic for the conveniences you get by staying here.
Red Wolf Lodge at Squaw Valley is another local property nearby that has a similar feel except instead of being on the lake it’s right in Squaw Valley making it the perfect ski spot (or even summer fun spot) to stay at. We drove up to Squaw Valley for the day and I was really impressed with all the activities, shopping, and dining available all in the same area.
Check out all they have to do in winter AND summer.
We also wanted to eat at the Rocker @ Squaw since it’s part of the fun sweepstakes Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge is hosting through the end of the month. They had some great views, great drink options, and the food was all so good! We spent quite a while just relaxing and enjoying our meal while watching skiers, snowboarders, and lots of puppers walking around outside.
