Disclosure: I was compensated an entry fee to share my Dirty Girl experience with you but all opinions and experiences are 100% my own.

I love fun runs and this one looks amazing!

The Dirty Girl Mud Run is coming to Phoenix on 11/16/13 and I’ll be there! It’s a non-timed super fun muddy run with obstacles like the Utopian Tubes, H2OMG and dirty dancing.

Cancer survivors run at all Dirty Girl events for free, and Dirty Girl will give $250,000 in 2013 to breast cancer charity Bright Pink. It’s the largest women’s only mud run in the nation!

I can’t wait!

If you want to join me (and I hope you do) I have a discount code for 20% off registration for the Phoenix Dirty Girl!

Just enter code DGPHOENIX at checkout

Let me know if you’d like to join our team and I’ll email you the team info!

Have you participated in the Dirty Girl before? Give me all your mud run tips!

I have not run the dirty girl runs before but i have done warrior dash 3 years in a row here in phoenix. If its all mud it is difficult…once its in your shoes it feels like 10lb’s added. Just have fun! Oh and protect your eyes…I had a lot of mud in mine last time and it hurt and i literally was picking mud out of my eyes for a day 🙁

  2. You should cut out your pockets so they don’t hold any water or mud. Also, there is a waterproof sock called seal skins and that will keep your feet dry, even if you wade through a lake. That will help keep your feet from getting blisters and skin ripping off before the end of the race.

    Good luck.
