We love having family over when there is a birthday in the house. It’s a great reason to have everyone over. Last year we had a soup bar and it was requested once again. I made broccoli cheese, clam chowder, vegetable beef and french onion soups ALL requested by the birthday boy.

Have I mentioned that I was blessed with awesome eaters?

My Mother In Law made the birthday cake as usual. We’ve been making it harder on her by adding in the issue of a gluten free cake but she’s taken the “challenge” on perfectly.
