If you follow me on social you may have seen that I had a ton of fun at Junk in the Trunk in Scottsdale last weekend. I went to their very first event years ago and have loved seeing the event grow! This year I attended the VIP night on Friday where Clint and Kelly Harp (from Fixer Upper) opened up the market. It was SO windy!Colton and I got to be one of the first to experience the Pacifica and Chrysler ride and drive event where people had the chance to check out brand new 2017 Chrysler Pacificas, 2017 Jeep Cherokees and 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokees. They even had some fun swag bags and free coffee from Mamas Cold Brew (one of my favorites).
If you ever get a chance to check out a vehicle at one of these events – do it! It’s a great way to see and ask about all the features without going to a car dealership. They were even driving people to their cars if they found too many great things to buy and take home.
Colton really wanted to see the features of the Pacifica so we spent most of our time in that one. I even drove it and was seriously impressed with the torque (get up and go). It has been a while since I’ve even been in a minivan so there was a lot that impressed me. The space in the Pacifica is crazy! You can completely flatten all the seats in the back for some serious cargo room and it does it easily. The Pacifica has won an impressive amount of awards, amazing safety features (like an around view camera) and even a vacuum IN the van. Check out even more on their site. Colton’s favorite was all the new technology like UConnect.
I have always loved Jeeps and the new Cherokee and Grand Cherokees are no different. Both were gorgeous and loaded with great features especially if you’re more of an SUV person.
Jeep and Chrysler were set up out front so you could see them when you walked in and ask them to give you a lift to your car when you walked out. If you’re not familiar, Junk in the Trunk is a large Vintage Market with vendors selling vintage, handmade or items those customers would love. There was SO much to look at!
We loved walking around the market and I loved the live music! On the VIP night everyone got a free drink coupon and the first look at all the shops.
We shopped for a few hours and loved finding new things in the booths each time we went back around.
I ended up with a new bread board that I already used for this fun wine night. We had a blast and I’m so glad we spent some time checking out that Pacifica. I have to say, I may take a second look at minivans after that one.
