You all know that Target is my go-to for anything home. It’s close, the styles and products are always on point and they have such a great selection. When I saw this cart in store, I knew I must have it. It’s the first time I’ve seen a black rolling cart and I love the spacing between the shelves!

Plus, I bought it already assembled – score! Since we’re nearing the end of summer, getting back to school and heading into the fall, it’s the perfect time to re-organize and get things ready for a busier season. When I bought this cart I had several different ways I wanted to use it so I thought I’d set it up each way and see what I liked best!

Cart 1 – The Crafty Cart

A cart has been on my list for some time to store some of my most used craft supplies. I never craft in the same place and take a million trips back and forth to the office to wherever the family is convening for the night. Being able to just roll out the cart would be SO much easier!

Having smaller boxes or containers on the cart keeps everything in its place and makes it easy to find what I’m looking for. I LOVE that gold basket for tossing bits of paper making it that much easier to clean up by throwing everything in the basket into the recycle bin! The buckets, basket, striped basket and divided container were found at Target in the Dollar Spot. That gorgeous file box (which is the perfect size to store 12”x12” scrapbook paper) is Threshold and the gold desktop organizer, sticky notes and binder clips are all Nate Berkus.

Cart 2 – The Homework Cart

The second use for the cart I had in mind was a mobile command center for homework or school work. Whether it’s you or your kids going back to school, having things on hand, in one place, makes homework time easier.

Having extra paper, homework instructions, pencils, glue sticks (we are constantly losing glue sticks), erasers, scissors, markers, crayons and books for reading lists all together gets rid of any excuse not to finish what needs to get done.

Cart 3 – The Bathroom Cart

I love this idea because it adds much needed storage to the bathroom, but it’s also mobile if you need the room! In the bathroom, the cart could hold and display extra toilet paper, towels and toiletries for easy access.

Maybe I should just buy 2 more carts! I really do love the versatility and organization this cart (and extra supplies) bring.

Bonus Cart! I found 1 more use for my cart and made a cute little video – but you’ll have to check out Instagram and/or YouTube to see that one 😉
