As scatterbrained and cluttered as I am I can only handle so many crazy colored kid creations hanging around. I keep and store them all (or photograph and store them) but I love when the boys bring or make something that fits in with my simple style. Here are some projects that kids can make that Mom will love to keep out and use

Jewelry tray from All for the Boys

Painted photo bottles from Eighteen 25

Children’s art tea towels from Setting for Four – the key to these is simple colors. Love the black and white.

Tiny Polaroid Magnets from Ambrosia Creative

And our DIY lotion bars packaged up in a mason jar is also a great practical gift – you could make different scents to change it up a bit as well.
