Montezuma Well from National Park Service: “Formed long ago by the collapse of a limestone cavern, over one million gallons of water a day flows continuously into the Well. This constant supply of warm, fresh water provides an aquatic habitat like no other in the world, and has served as an oasis for wildlife and humans for thousands of years.”

We had every intention of visiting Bearizona while we were in Williams last weekend but we ended up needing to get home so we started back down to Phoenix after lunch. On a whim we decided to stop at Montezuma Well on the way. It was a quick visit but the park there was gorgeous so if you get a chance to go bring a picnic!

Here’s the photo story of our visit
