The Best Gluten Free Waffle Recipe

Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside - you definitely won't miss the gluten in these easy waffles!
  • 1c thai rice flour
  • ½c potato starch
  • ¼c tapioca starch
  • 2tsp baking powder
  • ½tsp cinnamon
  • 1tsp salt
  • ¼c coconut oil melted (or oil of your choice)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1½c buttermilk (or add 1½tbs vinegar or lemon juice to a measuring cup and fill with milk of your choice to reach 1½ cups - let sit for a few minutes before using)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla
  1. Mix dry ingredients in a medium bowl
  2. Mix wet ingredients in a large bowl
  3. Incorporate dry ingredients into the wet ingredients
  4. Pour in batches onto a hot waffle iron and cook until golden brown
