Are you planning to visit Universal Studios Hollywood or Universal Orlando sometime soon? I have the perfect DIY dry-erase countdown for you to print and use right away! I made this one up after some of you requested one like my Disneyland, Walt Disney World, Disney Cruise, or Aulani countdowns. I love these because they go with any decor and are easy for the kids or adults in the family to change up each day.

DIY Universal Studios & Universal Orlando Countdown

I made up two versions of this first countdown depending on where you’re visiting or what your family refers to it as. Universal Orlando has several parks and Universal Studios Florida is only one of those awesome parks so I made a Universal Orlando countdown to encompass all of them.

You could use the Universal Studios countdown for Hollywood or for Orlando if that’s what you call it in your house. I say, whatever works for you!

DIY Universal Studios or Universal Orlando Harry Potter Countdown

If your Universal trip is ALL about the Wizarding World of Harry Potter then this Platform 9 3/4 countdown might be the one that gets your family excited. I made one for Universal Studios and Universal Orlando as well!

To make any of these just print the free file found below onto 5×7 photo paper (or you can print on 8×10 as well) and place in a photo frame.

Use a dry-erase marker to write how many days are left until your trip. In the morning just wipe off the day with a dry-erase eraser or a paper towel & write down the next number. I like to clean the glass off with some glass cleaner every now and then. I’ve also found that black markers work best for this, but feel free to use whatever you have on hand.
