I rarely get together with girlfriends just for the heck of it. Let alone to do something fun like our nails! I was super excited to host a fun girls DIY nail party with Sally Hansen products on Saturday! I checked out Walgreens.com before I left to get an idea of what I wanted to get. Loved the color combos, the nail pens and polish strips!

They had a fun Sally Hansen display right in the front of the store and TONS of products in the regular isle. I was excited to start loading up my cart. You can check out my whole shopping experience in my Google+ album.

I definitely used my Balance Rewards card and ended up collecting 4,000 points this trip!

It was fun picking and choosing colors and items I thought my guests would like taking their personalitites into consideration.

I woke up and got the house all set up Saturday morning.

For food we had mini quiches, zucchini muffins, scones with lemon curd, caprese salad, berry salad, orange juice, water, coffee and or tea!

For the product set up I made a little instruction shelf

I took some color and technique inspiration from my Pinterest Board

It was so fun chatting and sharing ideas.

The color blocking of seperate nails was popular.

We also used washi tape for taping off for different colors as well as circle lable stickers – super easy just make sure your base coats dry enough!

Some of our nails! Some did toes too! We had tons of fun and I really do heart my nail art! The Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips and Xtreme Wear polish were definitely favorites and a lot of us tried out and liked the Insta-Gel.
