I can’t believe I have this done THIS early, but I did. My December 2016 album is ready to go and fill with fun Christmas memories. Stampin’ Up! actually asked if I wanted to check out some of their Project Life line and when I saw the Hello December 2016 collection I knew it would make a super easy start to my album.December 2016 album from All for the Memories

I got just a plain Kraft 6″x8″ album (love that size), page protectors, the Hello December 2016 Project Life Card Collection and accessory pack.December 2016 album from All for the Memories

I love how this collection is a mix of trendy and traditional and will mix well with some other products and printables I’m sure to pick up along the way. I’ll admit that I haven’t even looked at Stampin’ Up! in YEARS so I was surprised to see their beautiful Project Life collections. Loving their page protector styles too.December 2016 album from All for the Memories

I already made up my simple cover page with cards from the kits, a photo from last November from up in Flagstaff and some of the wood shapes from the accessory pack. I’ll leave everything in one of the bags they came in until I decide if I want to make a full tray of items to use for the album. Having all the products, adhesives, scissors, pens etc. handy is the only way I’ll get this album done.

I’m not worried about documenting every day but maybe just some of our fun traditions or special things we do before Christmas. My boys have always loved looking through my December albums so they were a bit sad when I didn’t get one done last year (sorry boys)! I know I’ll be Instagramming my way through the holidays so even if those are the only photos I get, at least I know I’ll have some to add to the album. Plus, we have plans to see A Christmas Story at the Arizona Broadway Theater with my mom, we have to make our annual gingerbread cookies and I can add photos of my home decor and gift wrapping to the album if I run out of things to record. December 2016 album from All for the Memories
