I love a new year! This year I’m going smaller with my Project Life album. Hoping for it to be a bit more manageable. Last year I stopped worrying about recording by weeks and just recorded life in somewhat of an order. Some spreads covered several weeks – a month and some were just a day or tw0. I love the freedom.

Project Life title page prep

This year I’m hoping to tell more stories, bigger photos and more memorabilia. I’m planning out my title page and finally decided to go with a 9″x12″ size! Studio Calico will be carrying this size this year and I love that it’s a bit easier to store!

I also hope to mix in a bit more scrapbook pages at this size as well and plan to integrate them right into my album (not a separate album).

Here are my last 3 years’ title pages:

I’m also thinking of new ways to record our travels this year but I haven’t gotten too far into that yet.

Who else is doing some version of Project Life this year?

I love your cover page ideas. I too, like the flexibility of documenting as much or as little as the year rolls along. I think I will slip in scrap pages as well to mix it up!

  2. i have no idea what i’m going to do w/ project life. i’ve yet to be able to keep up with it past a few months. but i’m thinking i’ll keep going w/ the 12×12 this year. i’ve also done 8.5×11 in the past.

Did the 8.5×11 end up too small for you? The holidays are always hard for me to keep up with too!
