We now travel to Southern California about once a month. Jared goes for work so the boys and I go along finding work sometimes and others just getting in a bit of fun.
On our last trip we did Knott’s Berry Farm,
popped in on a family reunion at Laguna Beach and a fun dinner that we weren’t initially going to be able to make,
had lunch with a friend at the Walt Disney Studios lot,
and I took some surf lessons with my mom (HYSTERICAL but so much fun)!
The boys and I snuck in another beach day here and there as well. We love to find (or walk to) slower parts of the beach. Laguna is definitely a busier beach on the weekend unless you want to walk/hike around the rocks, but it’s gorgeous! (The photo below is Seal Beach)
Knott’s was pretty busy but the boys LOVED the Ghost Town events going on for their 75th anniversary – more details on that here.
We also tried some new food spots that I’ll share next time we visit (at the end of the month)! When we get back home from these trips if we didn’t take the dogs, they have to get some extra “mom time” while I catch up on the work that didn’t get done while we were gone.
