It’s here! My first (ok maybe 2nd) official YouTube video and this time it’s the start of a series. I’m going to walk you through how I tackle each month in my Everyday Album (my version of a Project Life album).

Everyday Album Series (a Project Life album) from All for the Memories. Walking through a Project Life spread from start to finish. This is part 1 - printing photos.

In this first video I talk a bit about my album and show you how I go about printing photos for the month. I don’t stick to a certain timeframe per spread (like 1 week) I just add favorite photos from throughout the month. I usually just pick up where I left off last time. This has worked the best for me so far!

I mention in the video that this is only MY version of printing photos. There are so many ways of doing it. I prefer using Photoshop so that I can add digital elements or journaling right at the time I’m getting photos ready to print. There aren’t any extra steps. Here are some other great sites and videos on how to print different sized photos on one print:

Another really great option is to print photos from Persnickety Prints. They will actually print 3×4 so there’s no combining necessary. I love this option because there’s no trimming, but I’m usually a big procrastinator and need my photos yesterday πŸ˜‰

For this video I printed a total of 23 4×6″ prints and the total cost was $4.37 (plus whatever I happened to pick up, it is Target after all).

Please let me know if you have any questions at all! I’m more than happy to answer them!

Enjoyed the tutorial and I’m looking forward to this series. Thanks!

  2. Hi there πŸ™‚
I was wondering if there is a way to actually print those guidelines which you used to crop the lake photo?
I print mine at home and when I have a pic with white background it would help to have lines that show me where to cut instead of measuring!
thanks for taking the time to make videos, I really enjoyed watching!

Hi Anne! Thanks so much! There are actually several ways to do this! I think I’ll make a video after this series (only 1 more to go) showing how I do a full page split up photo. I can share different ways to have a guide print for easy cutting!
