I LOVE using digital templates to create easy cards in my Project Life album or even for use on a scrapbook page.

The top left card from this Studio Calico Copper Mountain Project Life kit spread was originally this instagram image

The colors were so strikingly different than the rest of the spread and I didn’t necessarily want a huge photo of raw fish in this spread – it was more about the story that Jared and I only go out for sushi on a date since the boys love it and it’s SO expensive when we take them with us.

So I used the 4″x6″ template from the Studio Calico Copper Mountain digital shop

It’s super easy to pull your photo in behind the “documented” stamp. I hid the gray layer and reduced the opacity of my photo to around 30% (reduce the opacity in the layers panel).

I used the American Typewriter font to add in my journaling.

You can see my whole spread (plus another) and all the other Creative Team inspiration in the Copper Mountain Creative Team gallery!
